Iranian feature grabs US fest award

Directed by Ali Atshani, the feature film ‘Katyusha’ has succeeded to grab the Best Feature Film award at the US Love International Film Festival.

Also, Mahmoud Atshani received the festival’s Best Cinematography award for the film.

The feature had been nominated in three categories including best film, best cinematography and best actor.

“If I want to be successful in my life, I do not have to look at life like you do," a movie punch line hits.

The festival aims to bring together international works which promote love and healing through cinema.

The 2019 edition of the festival is slated for September 18-21.
